Dxtr Spits Is Having A Good (And Busy) 2019 With New Joint EP, NPR Tiny Desk Submission
We here at REA had the opportunity to chop it up with Music Artist/Overall Creative Dxtr Spits last year with our REA Radio outlet, but this is Dxtr’s first write up in the blog (mostly because I slept on him for too long already). 2019 has already been a busy year for Dxtr as he and fellow music creative Chai Tulani released their joint EP “Dxtr Ain’t Chai” earlier this year. Both artists are working on full length solo projects and have worked together before so the EP isn’t a surprise, nor is the good synergy they have with each other. ( if “Everyday” doesn’t get you up, we can’t be friends). “Dxtr Ain’t Chai” is a great four track vibe EP that is available on your favorite streaming platforms.
If that wasn’t enough Dxtr also recently released his video submission for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest. It’s three minutes of high energy and dopeness that needs to be checked out and supported, the video can be seen below and if you are not aware of NPR or what a Tiny Desk Contest is (silly souls) then click here to find out more information about it. Regardless support Dxtr, the brother is putting in hella work, he has his own backpack line as well, learn more about that here, and hell check out the conversation we did with him last year here. Part 2 of that convo coming soon!
